| Rarely, if ever, has such a team of world-class
professionals been assembled in the field of marina management
as at International Marinas. Their experience, accomplishments
and dedication speak for themselves.
Kaye Pearson – Chairman of International
Marinas. He is also the Chairman of Yachting Promotions., Inc.
/ Show Management – has over 30 years of experience in
presenting more than 200 boat shows, including the Fort
Lauderdale International Boat Show. He has designed and
installed dock systems, providing accommodations for more than
1,200 boats of up to 200 feet in length. He is an electrical
contractor and a designer of power source and distribution
systems for the largest yachts in existence. Mr. Pearson,
through his various related marine interests, has been
involved in the design and/or specifications for numerous
marina projects.
Walt McCrory,
CEO of International Marinas. He is also the Chairman and CEO
of Port Developers. Mr. McCrory is an attorney and Certified
Public Accountant. He has been involved at the senior
management level of commercial and residential real estate
development and management for the past 30 years. He has also
been the chairman of a substantial food distribution company
and a leasing company.
Fred A. Barboni Chief Operating Officer-
Fred has been involved in resort and marina operations,
real estate and recurring revenue business models with a
history of outstanding results. He has proven particularly
effective in leading multi-unit operations. Prior to joining
International Marinas he was a Senior Executive Officer with
Enterprise Rent a Car, where he was instrumental in the rapid
growth of the Florida markets for the Company. He has had a
lifelong passion for boating and water sports and comes with a
consummate understanding of marine related trends and boater’s
expectations.
Ed Stone – Senior Partner of Edward
D. Stone, Jr. and Associates (EDSA) – provides expertise in
planning and design. EDSA has worldwide experience in site
planning and design of large commercial projects, including
numerous hotel, marina, golf course and resort communities.
Mr. Stone was appointed to the Commission of Fine Arts by
Presidents Nixon, Ford and Carter. In 1994, he was warded the
Gold Medal of the American Society of Landscape Architects for
Lifetime Achievement in Planning and Design, Mr. Stone serves
as Vice President, Secretary and Director of Port
Developers.
Bob Gates received a
Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Merchant
Marine Academy and holds a Chief Engineer’s License. He is the
founder and retired Chairman of Gates Construction
Corporation, giving him extensive experience in the
construction of marine facilities and port development. In
1991, Gates Construction was acquired by Great Lakes Dredge
&Dock Company, one of the oldest and largest marine
construction companies in the Western Hemisphere. Mr. Gates is
Chairman of Gates Realty Corp. and a Director of Port
Developers.
